Boss' Advice

The other day my boss sent me an e-mail and instructed me to “click here to keep my job.”What can I say? Is not the most verbose man in the world. As it turns out what he wanted me to do was find a way to streamline some of the technology at our office and now I feel really good about my position at the company. I feel like because I'm the youngest person here I have a lot of ground to cover and a lot to prove when it comes to pulling my weight at the office.

Who would've thought I could do all that in one fell swoop just by making sure I had all of our technology needs covered. I love being an assistant because I feel like I get to have a hand in everything and I'm not tied down to one particular job responsibility. I'm learning a lot about how this small business functions and I know that I'm becoming a more essential part of day-to-day operations here at the office.
