Do You Know Your Overtime Pay and FLSA Legal Rights

While we hope to help people find jobs working from home, we realize not everyone has the chance and therefore has to work outside the home. The fact of the matter is, the state and federal laws (the Fair Labor Standards Act or FLSA) that govern an employee’s right to overtime pay are complex and often confusing. Along with the confusion, new overtime pay rules and regulations have gone into effect. I hear stories all the time from people about how they worked so many hours of overtime, yet their paycheck doesn't reflect the correct amount. How is this possible?
