Do You Know What Your Bloggers Think About You?

Do you employee freelance bloggers to help you manage your bogs or do you run a small company where you utilize part time or per-task help? If you’ve ever had people drop off the radar that you thought you could count on to complete work on time and you’ve wondered why they disappeared, you could easily gain a wealth of information by completing employee surveys.

You can quickly set up online employee surveys and send them to your part-time, or per task helpers to gain insightful information on how you are preserved as an employer. Some people will stop working for the smallest issues and often, the frustration that comes with finding new help can be avoided if you know how to fix issues with your current help.

The Internet is full of bloggers looking to make a few extra dollars but a bad relationship with one of those bloggers can spread like wildfire in your social circle of Internet goers. You could spend a ton of time and money trying to repair your reputation and your business credibility. In a world of “here today, gone tomorrow” bloggers and SEO companies, you need to do everything you can to stay ahead of the competition.

Become a Tax Preparer

Tax season is fast approaching and with increasing complicated tax laws, more and more people flock to certified tax preparers so they do not have worry about doing them on their own. When the new year rolls around, you will see a wealth of advertisements asking for new tax preparers for the tax season.

If you find yourself struggling with your at-home business during the first three to six months of the year due to the “new year lull” that happens after the holidays, you can obtain your tax preparer certification and seek employment with one of the many tax preparer companies that spring up out of nowhere in January. In most cases, you can expect to work part time hours with employment ending after April: when many at-home business start to pick up steam again.

In many cases, the training is paid and if you like the job, your certification for the next season is often faster than your initial training. This is a great way to increase your flow of income during a traditionally tough part of the year. It is also a good way to make business contacts, because many of the people you will prepare taxes for have small businesses and may be in need of your services.

Home Recording Income

With the wide availability of home recording software such as Garage Band and Sonar, just about anyone with some music talent and a few thousand in capitol can put together a computer based home recording studio. You can use a studio to record beats and list them for sale on sides like Sound Click. This is an excellent way to make some income, if you are good at what you do.

An alternative is to follow in the footsteps of bands like KO. KO is a one man driven band that records, produces and distributes albums such as 175 Cherry Lane. A contemporary rock album full is tasty guitar lines. In fact, 175 Cherry Lane from KO served as my inspiration for this money making tip. I've been listening to this album for a few months and it amazes me how well an independent album can sound. In-fact, if you do a bit of researching, you will quickly find that the underground world of music is thriving...more so than big-box distributors.

If you have musical talent and a bit to invest, take a look at your options. If you have no musical talent, head over to CD Baby or iTunes and download Ko's newest album. You won't regret it!

Blending Workforce With At-Home Work

With the current economy, many bloggers article writers and self-employed Internet entrepreneurs are migrating back into the workforce. Just as jobs are harder to find in the workforce, finding well paying jobs online has become harder as well.

If you are finding yourself thinking about going back to the workforce, find a job that allows you to work outside of the home but still gives you the freedom to make money on the Internet. In many cases, truck driving jobs not only provide you with a skill that you can take just about anywhere in the United States, it gives you the freedom to work on the Internet during downtimes when you are not driving.
Recruiting companies, such as Trucking Partners are always looking to recruit new drivers willing to work hard and driving the pen road gives you a feeling of freedom that is very similar to waking up in the morning and sitting in front of your computer while you gaze out the window.

Unfortunately, sometimes a decision has to be made about your carrier and financial stability. If a project gets onto a shelf, a truck got it there. You may see trucks all over the road but most companies struggle to maintain a staffed trucking fleet. This is why looking at options with a Trucking Recruiting company is a great opportunity for steady and reliable employment.

The Hectic Stay at Home Lifestyle

Contrary to what some might believe, if you work from home, you are not guaranteed extra time to do whatever it is you want to do. Often home based business require a lot more than the traditional 40-hour work week to keep your head above water and your bank balance in the black.

A business associate who lives in Austin Texas recently sent me http://www.thesteamteam.com/austin-cleaning-services/upholstery.shtml because she was freaking out that her son spilled juice all over her leather couch and it dried before she saw it. Although she was bit upset at not noticing the massive stain on her couch, she was very excited she found a sofa upholstery cleaning Austin based company that came out and cleaned her couch so she did not have to take time out of her busy schedule to complete the task herself.

As a work from home mom, I can completely empathize with her situation. Use this example as a reminder that you should always factor incidental costs such as this one when you think about working from home.
